Phillips
A vibrant Minneapolis community just south of downtown, Phillips is a convenient place to live. An extensive revitalization program has led to improvements in public transportation, community gardens, and, most importantly, economic opportunities in the area. Phillips holds a lot of promise, which could very well be Minneapolis’ biggest up-and-coming community. Philips is by no means the most luxurious neighborhood in Minneapolis, but there are definite advantages to living here. Phillips offers easy access to a range of cultures and viewpoints in a city often accused of having too few diversity issues. It is possible for residents of Phillips to develop close friendships with people of all backgrounds, many of whom may be foreign-born. These melting pot atmospheres are very appealing to many prospective residents.
